Self Catering Cottages in The Lake District
Welcome to Fornside, our family farm in the Lake District. We have four quality cottages converted from stone barns, equipped, furnished and maintained to a high standard.
We farm 75 acres of beautiful countryside with spectacular views. We keep sheep, ducks, free range hens a horse and a pony. Visitors are welcome to meet and feed our animals, and depending on the time of year can even help around the farm.
The cottages are peacefully located and yet we are within easy reach of Keswick, Grasmere, Ambleside and all the other attractions of the Lake District National Park.
We are on hand to offer advice on activities and places to eat, but are just as happy to leave you to enjoy a relaxing holiday here.
