Self Catering Cottages

Three of our cottages - The Old Byre, Herdwick Fold and Swaledale Garth - have been converted from a grade ll listed barn adjoining our 17th century farmhouse.

Rigg Barn was converted from a detached barn in 1999. All four cottages have full central heating and have been furnished and equipped to a high standard, recognised by the award of 4 stars by the English Tourism Council.

We have a no smoking policy for all our cottages.

The Old Byre (sleeps 4) Open plan living/dining room with fitted kitchen area including microwave.  Double and twin bedrooms. Bathroom with shower.
Herdwick Fold (sleeps 4) Open plan living/dining room with fitted kitchen area including microwave and dishwasher. Double and twin bedrooms. Bathroom with shower.
Swaledale Garth (sleeps 6) Open plan living/dining room with fitted kitchen area including microwave and dishwasher. Upstairs double and twin bedrooms. Bathroom with shower. Additional ground floor twin bedroom and shower room with WC and basin.
Rigg Barn (sleeps 6) Open plan living/dining room with woodburner and fitted kitchen area including microwave. Double, twin and bunk bedrooms. Bathroom with shower. Additional ground floor shower room with WC and basin. Private sitting out area with barbecue.

Our facilities:

• All the cottages have full central heating; Rigg Barn also has a wood burning stove.
• All the cottages have a colour TV, DVD player and music centre.
• There are shared laundry facilities and a payphone
• Cots and highchairs are available by prior arrangement.
• We collect and purify (without the use of chemicals) our own private water supply.
• All visitors have access to a one acre paddock with picnic benches, swings and barbecue.
• Ample car parking.
• No smoking in all cottages.
• Sorry, but we do not accept pets.
